Nadine Lustre's dream come true with Japan's cherry blossoms

Nadine Lustre finally fulfilled her childhood dream of seeing cherry blossoms in Japan thanks to her film with boyfriend James Reid.

JaDine went to Saga, Japan earlier this month to shoot some scenes for their upcoming movie "This Time" due for theatrical release on May 4.

Speaking with, Nadine said: "Nag-enjoy po ako kasi gustong-gusto ko po talaga makita ever since 'yung cherry blossoms po."

(I enjoyed because I really wanted to see the cherry blossoms ever since.)

It was serendipitous for Nadine because she only saw the cherry blossoms in full bloom for one morning during their taping.

After the scene was shot, however, the trees have started dropping their petals.

Nadine recalled: "Noong morning po, noong nandun pa kami sa location, ang dami pa po, sobra, as in punung-puno iyong puno. After po ng eksena namin, halos wala na po. Ang bilis!"

(In the morning, when we were still on location, there were still so many [cherry blossoms], the trees are still full of them. After our scene, they were almost gone. It was so fast!)

For James, it was his second time to see the flowers in bloom, but he expressed joy for his real-life girlfriend.

"It's been her dream since she was a kid so, I was really happy for her," said James.

While in Japan, JaDine also got featured on local news program Saga TV.
