Iza Calzado gets engaged to her British boyfriend in Tagaytay

Actress Iza Calzado said “yes” to the marriage proposal of her British boyfriend Ben Wintle. Videos and photos of the proposal went viral on social media.

The proposal took place at Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay in front of the couple’s family and friends.

Iza can be seen in the videos crying hard while her longtime boyfriend was proposing on his knees.

Karylle Yuzon had this to say about Iza and Ben:

“I first met @benmwintle and his payong in almon marina...then we watched the #blackeyedpeas later that night.

“Eventually, we became partners in his @bookyapp, traveled to KL, LA, shared stories about **** adventures, I've watched him as a pole on the dance floor and i watched him gently stay at iza's side during the bad times.

“I made sure to get Tito Lito's approval which of course Ben Tumbling got at the hospital. Si @missizacalzado, you know how much we love each other naman na. Love u both and congratulations,” she posted.

Fashion designer Rajo Laurel also posted about the engagement.

"IZA SAID YES! Congratulations to my friends [Iza Calzado] and [Ben Wintle] on their engagement! What a blessing to witness this special moment in your lives. So happy for you both,” he wrote.
