Aiko Melendez finally tells the story of how she reconciled with Ara Mina

Actress Aiko Melendez shared her emotional story of how she was able to reconcile with her fellow actress Ara Mina after years of being rivals.

KAMI learned about her story from PEP.ph.

Aiko narrated that the reconciliation took place last week while both of them were attending a wake.

“Ang ganda ng timing ko, sa patay po kami nagkita, pero may nabuhay na ano.”

“Kasi, when I saw her sa wake, she stood up, sabi niya, ‘Hi.’ Tapos, she was left alone in the bench, wala siyang kausap.

“I approached her, sabi ko, ‘Uy, kumusta ka na?’ E, medyo nagkakahiyaan pa, sabi ko, ‘Tama na, okay na tayo, okay na yun.’

“Tapos, I hugged her. Tapos, sabi ko, ‘Okay na tayo, ‘no! Kalimutan mo na yun.’ Tawa kami nang tawa lang. Everything was just light, ano lang… hindi pilit.”

Aiko became enemies with Ara when the latter became the new girlfriend of her former boyfriend Jomari Ylana.

Years later, Aiko’s former boyfriend Patrick Meneses also became the girlfriend of Ara.

Aiko said that she was just waiting for the right time to reconcile with Ara.

“Wala naman… ang tagal ko na nakapag-move on, e. Nakakaloka naman, di ba, if you just dwell on it? Kaya when I saw her, parang wala na.”

She also revealed that she is now text mates with Ara.

“We text each other now. Kunwari, nagkita kami last night, the following day, we’re texting each other.”
