- Vico Sotto opposed the P1-K budget for the CHR in 2018
- On the other hand, Tito Sotto slammed the CHR
- Vic Sotto talked about the opposing views of his two family members
Vic Sotto has finally opened up about the opposing views of his son, Pasig City Councilor Vico Sotto, and his brother, Sen. Tito Sotto, about the P1,000 budget for Commission on Human Rights (CHR) in 2018.
KAMI learned about his comments from PEP.ph.
Vico was opposed to the P1-K budget approved by the Congress.
On the other hand, Senator Tito Sotto seemed to have agreed with the budget by slamming CHR Chairman Chito Gascon.
According to Vic, there is nothing wrong with having different opinions as long as there is respect for one another.
“That’s what democracy is all about. May kanya-kanya tayong pananaw sa mga isyu.
“So, respetuhan na lang. It doesn’t mean na magkaaway na tayo kasi kung ikaw naniniwala sa yung hindi ko pinaniniwalaan, kanya-kanyang ano yun.
“Wala sa pamilya yun. It’s a very petty issue. Kanya-kanya yun, e.”
KAMI agrees with Vic that difference in views should not be a hindrance for love and respect!
