John Prats and Isabel Oli are two of the newest celebrity couple who welcomed parenthood, and they are indescribably happy with being hands-on parents to their first child Lily Feather that they already want to have more.
During the press conference for his film, Diyos-Diyosan, John said that he is looking forward to more babies. John is looking at one year or less as he wants his children to have short age gaps. “After ng tatlong sunud-sunod, okey na kami (After three children, we’re okay),” John said.
“Si Liv [Isabel’s nicname], actually…ang tagal ko naman kasing hinintay ito, at I’m thirty-two and Liv is thirty-four (We’ve been waiting for this for so long; I’m at thirty-two while Live is thrity-four). So siguro, it’s about time na sunud-sunurin na naming (It’s about time that we make more babies.) Kasi we don’t have that time, yung privilege na maghintay for another year (We don’t have the privilege to wait for another year). 'Hangga’t kaya ni Liv (As long as Liv can handle it),” John added.
The happiness they are feeling as of the moment knows no boundaries. John said that when Feather was born, the feeling he felt was so magical.
“Hindi mo alam umiiyak ka na pala, hindi mo planado, yung hindi ka nag-i-emote (You don’t realize that you are already crying, the emotion is unplanned.) Sobrang happy na ako at safety delivery yung nangyari sa wife ko at si baby Feather, normal (I am happy that my wife had a safe delivery and that our baby was born normal),” John shared.
They are waiting for three to four months more before planning Feather’s baptismal. However, John said the godparents would surely include Angelica Panganiban, Sam Milby, at John’s brother, Carlo.
Isabel, on the other hand, wants members of the Banana Sundae close to them to become godmothers and godfathers. However, John wanted to divide the Banana Sundae family and reserve the other members for their next children.
It would take three to four years before Isabel gets back to the entertainment world. “After three kids, yun ang mindset niya, e. Baby-making muna kami ngayon (After three years, maybe. We are focused now on baby making),” John disclosed.
