Randy Santiago has opened up about the death of his 24-year-old son Ryan Santiago after battling a rare brain disease and multiple sclerosis for three years.
KAMI learned about the grieving father’s comments from PEP.ph.
At the wake of his son at the La Salle Greenhills Chapel yesterday, Randy talked about the heartbreak he felt because of his son’s death.
“Tanggap, pero mahirap… masakit. Lalo na kapag magulang, e,” Randy said.
He added that he believes that God has a plan for his family.
"Pero siyempre, ang Panginoon, nandiyan para siguro...
"Baka may purpose Siya kung bakit he had to leave and he had to go at an early age, dahil siyempre hindi naman siguro patagalin pa yung sickness niya,” the singer said.
Randy added that his wife Marilou had told him that God might have willed their son to die before them because nobody would care for Ryan if they would be the ones to pass away first.
"So minsan, kahit masakit sa amin, mas mabuting naalagaan namin siya hanggang sa huling hantungan,” Randy stated.
