Nagsalita na siya! Erich Gonzales addresses issue linking her with Direk Paul Soriano

- Rumors about an alleged affair between Direk Paul and Erich surfaced some time around May 2017

- The two worked together in the romance flick "Siargao"

- Erich finally breaks her silence over the issue linking her with Direk Paul

"Siargao" a romantic film which stars Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith and directed by Toni Gonzaga's husband, Paul Soriano.

The film which is an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Fest 2017, was released on Christmas day and received positive reviews.

However, during the filming of "Siargao," rumors about an alleged affair between Erich Gonzales and Direk Paul surfaced.

During an earlier report, Direk Paul's wife Toni Gonzaga clarifies that there is nothing going on between her husband and Erich and claims that the rumors are just part of a promotional "gimmick."

During Erich Gonzales' TV guesting on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Tito Boy asked Erich about her opinion on the issue.

Tito Boy: "Habang ginagawa niyo ang pelikula hindi maiiwasan that Erich is going to be linked with Direk Paul, what do you wanna say?"

Erich: "Uhm, katulad po ng sinabi, hindi po talaga maiiwasan yun, lagi naman po kahit artista, or kahit na sino po, yung mga intriga parte na po talaga yan ng industriyang ito.

"Hindi po totoo."

Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco, most commonly known as Erich Gonzales joined Star Circle Quest when she was only 14 years old.

On 2015, Erich and Daniel Matsunaga confirmed their relationship, however around early 2017, Erich confirmed the rumors about their break up.
