Actor Gabby Eigenmann has opened up about the experience of working for veteran director Mike de Leon for the indie movie “Citizen Jake.”

KAMI learned about Gabby’s comments from PEP.ph.

Gabby said that he had a great experience working for Mike but that he was moody.

“Masaya, masarap... napapatawa ko siya, okay na ko run. Kasi istrikto yun.

“Medyo he has his moods. Pero kapag nandun ako sa set, napapatawa ko siya, okay na ko run.”

(It was a joy, it felt great… I was able to make him laugh, and that is enough for me because he is strict. He is slightly moody. But when I am on the set, I am able to make him laugh and that is enough for me.)

But is Gabby sad that the movie will not be included at the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival this December?

“Medyo. Pero sabi ko nga, there’s always another way, another outlet. Kailangang maipalabas pa rin ito kasi isang panibagong obra ito ni Direk Mike de Leon.”

(Slightly. But like I said, there’s always another way, another outlet. It needs to be shown to the public because this a new work from director Mike de Leon.)

It has been 17 years since Mike has directed a movie.
