- 10-year-old lived longer despite doctor's diagnosis of only a few months to live after diagnosis
- Her family even prepared for her funeral
- A miracle then happened
Abby Furco is a 10-year-old who was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 4 years old.
At the time of her diagnosis, she was only given by the doctor a 20 percent chance to survive.
At a young age, she already underwent a bone marrow transplant.
Her family was also told that she was going to die.
Then in 2013, she had a great year and was able to live like a normal kid.
The following year however, the cancer returned, worse.
When she had another bone marrow transplant, the donated marrow eventually attacked her body.
Her kidneys failed the following month.
Without any hope left, with the doctors telling the family that once they took Abby off from dialysis, she'll only survive for 48 hours, her family started preparing for her funeral.
Then a miracle happened.
Abby woke up and said, "I have so much living to do."
After that, Abby started walking within months.
The family even lessened some of her medicines.
Now, the little girl is on her way to recovery.
