In a world where everything seems very expensive, a lot of students are still striving hard to ensure they can pursue their studies and reach their dreams.
KAMI came across with this sad story in The News Journal where a grade 9 student from Mangaldan National High School was bullied by many after they found out that he was selling trash to support his daily expenses.
The story originally went viral on Facebook after Erica Carnaza shared how she was disappointed how people treated this poor kid. She pointed out that instead of getting help, this kid was mocked.
Erica then decided to post his photos on Facebook so she can ask help from the local government and DSWD or also known as Department of Social Welfare and Development, an executive department of the Philippine Government accountable for the protection of the social welfare rights of the citizens and to promote social development.
This was exactly the post of Erica Carnaza who reached to many people in order for this kid to get help.

We hope that everyone gets a lesson from this. We know how difficult life could be and heling others in our simple ways can really mean a lot especially in circumstances like this. Thanks to Erica!
