-Diego Loyzaga is moving out of his father Cesar Montano’s property, which he considers home for the past few years
-This is following their much-publicized social media spat last February, where Diego took to Instagram to lambast his dad
-The elder Montano has since remained mum on the issue, and Diego seemed to have moved on from it
Diego Loyzaga has been tremendously blessed work-wise, with many projects coming his way.
This came as a breath of fresh air for the Kapamilya teen star, who sees this as an opportunity to start anew.
KAMI picked up from PEP Ph how Diego is now ready to move out of one of his father Cesar Montano’s houses, where he has been living for a few good years.
Reports have it that he took the higher road and reached out to his dad thru a text message, and we quote:
“Nagpasalamat lang ako sa kanya, kasi for the longest time, nakatira ako sa isang bahay niya.
"It’s an old house of his—yung restaurant niya.
"Tinext ko siya to thank him for all the support na ibinigay niya, and for letting me stay in that house.
"And also to tell him that I’d be moving out na."
Cesar Montano did not reply to said text message.
But optimistic Diego, freed from all the hurt, bitterness, and worries, acknowledged that he might never get a reply from his father, and he’s not waiting for one anyway -- not now, not anymore.
“I’m not waiting.
"The little kid Diego, the younger me, he was waiting.
"But I’m not. I’m fine na. We’re good."
It was sometime in February when Diego took to Instagram to air out his disappointment over his dad, saying he was never treated like a son, never felt accepted nor loved.
Diego is Cesar’s son with singer-actress Teresa Loyzaga.
Message to dad.
“If there’s one good thing my father taught me, it would be yung pagiging maka-Diyos niya. Sobra siyang masipag magsimba tuwing Sunday. Grabe yung faith niya kay Lord. So, alam mo, kahit papa'no, at least yun, nakuha ko yun sa kanya.”
“Thankful at masaya ako na at least I got something from my dad.”
"Kaya sa ngayon, all I wanna say is God bless and sana things will work out.”
“Mukha naman siyang masaya. Marami siyang trabaho ngayon, e.”
