-This woman from New York won $42 million dollars on a slots machine

-To make her feel better, the casino gave her a steak dinner to compensate with her loss
It is one in a million to just about $42 million dollars on a casino slots machine. Imagine you won and they will tell you it was a glitch and you did not win anything at all.
Katrina Bookman was full of joy after winning $42.9 million dollars on Resorts World New York slots machine.
“I kept thinking about my family,” She said in tears on an interview. When she was about to claim her prize, the casino told her that the win was just a glitch on their system and she really did not win anything.
With a broken heart, she recalled “I said what did I win? (The casino representative said,) ‘You didn’t win nothing,'”
The New York State Gaming Commission said Bookman’s slot machine malfunctioned. “Malfunctions void all pays and plays,” a warning states on all the slot machines in the casino.
To compensate with her, the casino gave her a steak dinner instead. However, according to Katrina's attorney, she should have won at least $6,500 which is minimum allowed in the Sphinx machine.
Alan Ripka, Katrina Bookman's attorney pointed, “They win and the house doesn’t want to pay out. To me that’s unfair.
“The machine takes your money when you lose. It ought to pay it when you win.”
The commission pointed out as well that Katrina's winning was just $2.25.
The machine was pulled out immediately after the said issue.
