Imagine going to the toilet and seeing a snake slithering around in the bowl. One young Texas boy experienced just that. He shouted to his mother to come and help him but she didn’t believe him. When her other son yelled there was an edge of panic in his voice. The mother reacted and ran to the bathroom. She took a photo and sent it to her husband and asked him for advice in dealing with this emergency. He told her to kill it.
According to Washing Post the snake managed to climb out of the toilet and tried to slither away but was attacked by the humans until it was dead. By this time the father, Jason McFadden, had arrived home and examined the corpse. He phoned a local company to go to his home. It is just as well he did because 23 more snakes were discovered in or around the home.
The snakes were identified by Nathan Hawkins of Big Country Snake Removal Company as Western Diamond Rattlesnakes. Hawkins feels that we need to be more educated when it comes to snakes. More people get killed by lightning than by snake bite he said.
Briefly SA urges you to call in professional help if you find a snake. The snake is more scared of you and will try to escape rather than attack.
