Maui Taylor becomes full-time mom after leaving showbiz

Do you still remember Maui Taylor? She used to be a big star in the early 2000s but suddenly disappeared from showbiz. What happened to her?

KAMI learned about the new chapter of her life from GMA Network.

It turned out that she got married to Anton Sabarre.

Anton is a DJ and a corporate realtor.

They have two super cute sons: Antoine Miguel and Matteo Alonzo.

Despite being inactive in showbiz, she is still in contact with former colleagues Katya Santos and Jaycee Parker.

She and her family love to spend quality time together by traveling to different places.

Maui also maintains her figure with an active lifestyle.

She explained to ABS-CBN the feeling of being a mother.

"Masaya maging mommy. Naisip ko nga, bakit kung kailan ako nag 32 tsaka ko lang naisip na maging parent pero masaya naman talaga… Nakaka miss sa showbiz is 'yung araw araw nasa trabaho ka. Pero ngayon na mommy na ako, medyo hindi na siguro kakayanin ang ganun," she said.

Maui added that she is forever done with daring roles.

"Bawal na ako… pero puwedeng-puwede na ako tumanggap ng mommy roles! Wala namang nagbabawal. Pinapayagan naman ako kung gusto ko mag showbiz ulit."

KAMI believes that being a mother is one of the toughest jobs in the world. It takes a lot of love, passion, commitment and unending patience in order to succeed!
