-Coco Martin begins work for “Panday” movie
-He chose to kick-off the start of filming by visiting the grave of the late Fernando Poe, Jr., who is the iconic, original “Panday”
-The actor thanked FPJ and asked for guidance for as he ventures into this new project
Coco Martin visited the Manila North Cemetery on Thursday to visit the grave of Fernando Poe, Jr.
The actor posted a clip on his Instagram where is seen to be lighting candles and offering a moment of silence to “Da King”, who was the first to ever portray the iconic blacksmith character.
This will also be Coco’s first venture into directing, as he is said to both direct and star in the “Panday” movie.
After the cemetery visit, the “Ang Probinsyano” actor also went over to check on some shooting locations for the movie, which will be out in time for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
