Netizen shares clips of reportedly fake food items, clarifies fake cabbage clip is a display item
Although a lot of things can be counterfeited these days, it is alarming to know that they are things that we eat.
For the past few days, social media has been filled with clips of netizens proving that some food items are allegedly imitations of the real thing.
For example, this one claimed that the rice they got was fake.
Can you believe that something as simple as margarine can be duped?
Even cupcakes that we usually eat as snacks have dangerous knockoffs!
KAMI spotted that some of these clips were part of a Pinay netizen’s compilation.
Since her post went viral, she updated it with a message to those who bashed her for her efforts.
She did not mean to scare people with her post, but to make them aware that some of the most basic food we consume can pose a threat to us.
One of the clips included was actually a demo on how to make a fake cabbage but for display purposes, which she apologized for.
Check out her lengthy message and the rest of the videos below.
