Dino Imperial became a household name after being launched as a member of then-popular boy group “ASAP Gigger Boys”
After a few stints in local showbiz, however, he decided to drop everything and wrap-up his career here
He moved to the US where he was cast in a Hollywood film starring some of the biggest names in Tinseltown
Dino Imperial’s showbiz career flourished in the years 2006-2012. His most famous loveteam then was actress Empress Schuck.
An original Star Magic talent, many saw him as one of the most popular ones during his time.
His famous contemporaries include Enchong Dee, Sam Concepcion, Enrique Gil, Robi Domingo, Aaron Villaflor, and the late AJ Perez, and they all made-up the now-defunct boy group “ASAP Gigger Boys”.
Some of his notable projects in the Kapamilya network include ‘Katorse’, ‘Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Kristine’, ‘Imortal’, ‘Bagets: Just Got Lucky’, and ‘Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin’, to name a few.
Although his time in the industry was short-lived, Dino certainly left a mark in the hearts of many who looked up to him and believed in his talent.
He decided to take an indefinite hiatus and extended break from showbiz, leaving the country some time in 2012. But lo and behold, acting seemed to follow him wherever he went!
He found himself cast in the Hollywood movie “Las Vegas”, starring Robert de Niro, Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, and Kevin Kline. Yes, can you believe that? Woohoo!
He also worked in a Las Vegas posh club for the elite and high-society, and his earnings proved to be substantial enough, enabling him to purchase a sports car and his very own penthouse!
Now that he is back in the Philippines again, he vows to finish what he has started here, and he is ready to take back his rightful spot in the industry.
Fans can relax and rejoice as we will definitely be seeing more of Dino.
He will be portraying the role of “Jethro” in the latest Kapamilya offering “La Luna Sangre”, which is the third installment of the Lobo and Imortal trilogy, for which he used to be a part of.
Jethro is the same character he breathed life into in Imortal. Of his role in Sangre, Dino has this to say:
“Jethro is a misunderstood guy, a human with superpowers he is yet to discover.”
“Out of all the roles that I ever did, this is the one role that stuck to me the most and that I really loved.”
Here is the movie trailer of “Las Vegas”.
