- The lack of space gave rise to "coffin homes"
- These are cramped living spaces
- It's like several square meters of space where all parts of your house unfold
Hong Kong offers many opportunities but high cost of living has given rise to "coffin cubicles."
These are also known as cage homes.
These are cramped apartment units that could barely give you a space to stretch your legs.
The bed, toilet, cabinet, dining (if there's one) are all merged in one single space.
These cage homes used to be made of wire mesh.
Today, wood has been used too.
Can you imagine preparing your food right beside the toilet bowl?
Kami would like to remind everyone to appreciate whatever type of home you have right now.
