Connor was not using his hind legs as what other eight-week-old puppies would be capable of doing so his family reached out to a rescue in Illinois.
Thefirst finding was Connor might be a 'swimmer puppy' where a puppy's back legs are weak and undeveloped.
If that is the case, it would be a good news because 'swimmer puppies' would eventually be able to walk on their own again.
However, as Connor took his therapy sessions, doctor notice how he was not making much progress so when he was brought to a neurologists, it turned out that he was not a 'swimmer puppy' but he had suffered a spinal injury most likely caused by his mom who probably was lying or stepping on him when he was a baby.
Upon finding out his condition, Connor goes to therapy three to four times a week and is now a happy and positive dog who likes playing with three foster dog brothers all day long.
This is a reminder from KAMI to show love to our pets despite their conditions and give them the care they need.
