KAMI stumbled across a very interesting story from msn.com about a man who had a child by using modern technology.
Not all people are privileged to have a child of their own. But, the modern world has made it possible for a single person to be able to take care of a child. This is the story of Tom Garden who successfully had a child by using IVF.
Tom Garden was too focused on his business that time and having child never crossed his mind. He is 47 years old that time and he is giving all of his efforts only on his business.
“I was married to the business. I never thought about kids. Then we sold the business in 2013,” Garden told InsidEedition.com.
Garden, who is Jewish, went to Israel for a little bit of trip and ran into his cousin who told he a very painful and disturbing truth that he cannot remove.
“One of my cousins said, ‘If you don’t have kids, your lineage is going to die.’ Being the last male in the Garden line, that reality hit me hard,” Garden said.
KAMI is eager for everyone to know that any person deserves to have a child. Children are a gift that should be treasured. No matter what happens, always try.
When he returned to his home in Minnesota, he shared to his mom about his problem of having children. He is not interested in dating anymore adding up that he is a heterosexual. His mother suggested a surrogate and really encouraged him to try all he can.
They started searching for IVF clinics and finally found a donor from New York that has Jewish eggs that can be used. After that, he looked for a surrogate. He then met Nicole, a married woman with four children, who agreed to carry the child for him.
Nicole got impregnated in first try and was able to give birth to the child and name him Joseph. Tim even trained himself how to take care of a child while Nicole was pregnant with the baby.
With six embryos still left, Tim is still eager to have a go for a second one.
