A woman named Marie Vargas posted a picture of this little boy named Jason who was eating alone on a corner at a food joint. She tried to approach him at first but she was hesitant that she might be suspected as a child predator.

Eventually, she went to him asked where his parents and why he is alone.

“I asked him if he was by himself and he said he was just here alone waiting for school to start and finish his pancakes. I asked him if I could sit with him, and keep him company he said yes,” Marie wrote in her post.

The boy named Jason told her that he goes to the same food joint to eat pancakes alone because his older siblings would just ditch him. He also mentioned that his mother works at night.

Many people commended what Marie did for the boy because if it wasn't for her other people with bad intentions would have come to him instead.

“Nothing you ever buy can amount to the memories and bond you make spending time with your children,” she said.

Children will grow up. No car, clothes toys or any other things can replace a parent. Parents should take this as a lesson to give more time to their children before they run out of it.
