Starting in showbiz at the tender age of 5 and having been in the limelight most of his life, Ian certainly values his privacy a lot, so much so that not much is really known of his family life.
He took an extended break from showbiz and focused on his family and spent time pursuing his other passions.
After taking a breather from showbiz, Ian is back, and he’s here to prove that he is still the same old charmer that he was, maybe even bigger, better and brighter.
Ian Veneracion’s biggest showbiz comeback takes form in his role as Eduardo in the "Pangako Sa ’Yo" remake.
Unexpectedly causing quite a public stir, it became Ian’s stepping stone to gain access back into the ‘biz, marking his territory in primetime teleserye.
He is now in another soap, ‘A Love to Last’ , which he topbills alongside Bea Alonzo.
With so many people, old and young alike, enamored by his endearing charisma and suave, gentleman-ly ways, he sure has a huge fan base that can possibly rival that of any newcomer teen stars of today.
Ian has also appeared in two major big-screen films since his comeback, both with Jodi Sta. Maria as leading lady.
When it comes to his family though, it’s a topic Ian rarely talks about, because he would want to, as much as possible, keep them under wraps. He wants people to respect his family’s privacy, because work is work, but these are the very people he cares about and comes home to everyday.
He rarely even posts any photos of his wife and kids on his Instagram account.
KAMI came across this abs-cbn.news once-in-a-blue-moon tell-all interview of Ian, as he speaks fondly of those dear to his heart.
This is the story of how Ian met his wife:
According to Ian, one of the biggest blessings and best life decisions he has made was marrying his wife Pam Gallardo.
“I’m 42 now. She’s literally like a part of me. So mas kilala ko ang sarili ko na nandoon siya as part of my life, kaysa sa wala siya.”
He also shares how he and his sons love to go paragliding, play basketball, and go on roadtrips on their motorcycles.
When all the lights have been turned off, all the scripts have been read, and when the cameras have stopped rolling, one role Ian will forever be grateful to portray: a father and a husband.
