Angelica Hale performed Andra Day’s “Rise Up” as her audition piece on “America’s Got Talent”.

She received a standing ovation from the audience, who were all so greatly moved by her performance that some were even brought to tears.

Unbeknownst to many, this young powerful belter almost didn’t make it to this very stage. She was confined in the hospital for 80 days and stayed in the ICU about 6 weeks.

This 9-year-old singer, Angelica Hale, is a force to be reckoned with! Such a young girl with a voice that could rival other performers twice her age, she undoubtedly captured everyone’s hearts.

The judges were all mesmerized. Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum only had good things to say about her performance.

"Well, this shouldn't actually happen! You're tiny, you're voice is huge! I have a feeling, we may be looking at a star in the future." -Simon Cowell
"Wow, I had goosebumps everywhere! You're a clever little girl and you said you wanted to be a superstar. I think might happen for you, let me tell you." -Heidi Klum
"You are so special, and your voice is so amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it with us today!" -'Spice Girl' Mel B
"You said, you've been watching this on YouTube and you felt that now you're in it. I believe that not only you're in it, I predict that all your dreams are gonna come true, young lady." -Howie Mandel

After her performance, all four judges joined the audience as they stood up and applauded her powerful “Rise Up” rendition.

But there’s more to this young girl than meets the eye.

At the tender age of four, she survived Double Pneumonia, a lung infection that affected both of her lungs.

By six years old, she had to undergo a transplant since both of her kidney stopped working.

Lucky for her, her Filipina mom Eva was a match, and she didn’t have to think twice about donating one of her kidneys to save her daughter.

Even before joining the 12th season of AGT, this little girl already had her hands full performing in various US events, such as Miss America 2017 and the US Open.

She also sings to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
