Nicole’s grandfather, Henry Sy, is considered as the Philippines’ richest man.
He owns the SM malls, SM Rime Holdings, and many more.

But instead of just having fun and living a carefree life, Nicole decided to work had and pursue her dreams.
She is a full-time artist who studied in London, graduating with honors at the Central Saint Martins.
To broaden her horizons, she also studied pottery at the Jalan Bahar Clay studios in Singapore.

Nicole has a studio in London and is now an acclaimed artist.
Her Danish boyfriend of five years, Kristian, is also an artist.
“In London I get to pave my own way. I definitely don’t need to use my mom’s connections to get anywhere. I really like the fact that I get to see it through myself,” Nicole said.
What does her mother, BDO Chairperson and SM Investment Corporation (SMIC) Vice Chairperson Teresita Sy- Coson, think of her life choices?
“She’s kind of confident in my being able to survive. She knows I’ve always wanted to be a painter,” the 24-year-old explained.
