KAMI found this post in the Twitter account of @thundermushroom where he asked MMDA Official regarding the dashboard dishplay on his Mazda car.
This inquiry was intented to clarify the recently implemented RA 10913 or the Anti-Distracted Driving Act where motorists are prohibited from using communication devices and other electronic devices while vehicles are moving or temporarily pulled over on a traffic light.
@thunderstorm tweeted, “@MMDA Good morning po! Magkakaroon po ba ng issue sa mga ganitong dashboard display sa mga Mazda cars? Di po siya pwedeng ibaba”. He even added the photo as part of his tweet.
To his surprise, MMDA replied by tweeting “Mas mainam po kung ibaba niyo po ng kaunti pa. #mmda”
@thundermushroom then tweeted back, “Fixed po siya, hindi siya nabababa. Meron po bang provision for mga ganitong features?”
A day after, MMDA tweeted and said there was a correction "Correction po, wala pong problema yan kasi built in na po yan sa Mazda. Salamat po. #mmda"
These exchanges of tweets really caught the attention of many. Did they really prepare for the recently implemented Anti-Distracted Driving Act?
Just to be safe, any inquiries tweeted regarding ADDA was redirected to DOTr and LTO.
