The Philippines is replete with awesome talents. The only problem is that the system makes it so difficult for individuals to showcase their talents.
Kami saw a post made by Gillian Garcia Alejandro on FB which featured a homeless artist.
Yes, Jhalanie Lava Matuan, the 48-year-old woman, has awesome drawing skills. However, she was not given the opportunity to hone and develop her skills.
To make a living, she would draw on cardboard and would sell them for P150 per piece.

This is her sole source of income.
So if you see Ms. Matuan in Malolos, Bulacan, right beside Cabanas, you might want to help her out.
Please share and hopefully, many people will see her and buy her drawings.
