- KAMI conducted a kidnapping social experiment to test if kids would go with someone they barely know
- After asking random parents how often they remind their children not to talk nor go with strangers, the team request permission to execute the experiment to see how their kids would respond
- An accomplice, acting like a normal park-goer, with toys with him, tried to invite the kids to play and get more toys in a nearby place
According to Philippines Missing Persons, numerous cases of missing people have been recorded in the country and 20 percent of it are children who were either abducted or removed from the custody of their guardians.
In relation to this, KAMI.com.ph came up with an exclusive video experiment to measure how easy it can be to abduct kids.
With the help of an accomplice, the team went to a playground in Quezon City, reached out to parents and asked permission to carry out the plan.
Prepare to cringe after watching it. The result is beyond expectations.
We didn’t see it coming. The parents didn’t see it coming. And neither will you.
Parents for sure would always remind their children to stay away from people they don’t know and to avoid talking to strangers. But the question is, is that enough?
How certain are you your kids would keep in mind all your advice?
The public is gently reminded to be more attentive and to take extra precaution especially when it comes to your children so as not to be a victim of any kind of criminalities.
