Ariel Rivera gives his opinion on Richard Reynoso and Daniel Padilla Controversy.
It involves the issue of Richard posting in social media about Daniel's serenade number during the Binibining Pilipinas Pageant.
His sentiments include that nowadays, singing in tune is not required at all.
He posted it on the time Daniel Padilla was on stage performing.
When asked about his opinion on this issue, Ariel Rivera answered this'
“Opinions matter, but in terms of commenting on how a person performs, I don’t think that’s right.”
In his opinion it is not Daniel's fault if the candidates looked like a backdrop of Daniel because of too much exposure on Camera.
“That’s more of production problems there,”he added.
According to him it is not right to criticize or belittle co artist's performance because every singer has their own style and rendition.
“Not everybody sings well but that doesn’t mean that they don’t perform well, you know.”
He even pointed Bob Dylan as an example.
He is not an excellent singer but he always sing from the heart.
Ariel also shares that criticizing a performance is not good for even the greatest performers like Gary V and Martin Nievera are always 100% perfect.
He also added some factors could affect an artist's performance.
