Sometimes when you eat street foods, you acknowledge the gastronomic adventure that awaits.
What this Facebook netizen wasn’t prepared to see though, was the accompanying “side dishes” that came with her order.
KAMI chanced upon this coconuts.co article where a certain Kapong Pang was featured because of her viral Facebook post.
Pang took to social media how horrendous her dining experience was on the markets of Phanat Nikhom in Chonburi.
She uploaded pictures of her food, with cockroaches suddenly swarming up the wall fronting her table.
And we don’t just mean about 2 or 3, or 5 roaches here...we’re talking about an entire army who decided to come out of their hiding and converge.
To make matters worse, rats and centipedes decided to complete the cast, all exiting from the shop’s flooded drain.
“While I was eating my delicious noodles, cockroaches, rats and centipedes crawled out of the drains. I was disgusted, but I was hungry,”
She added, “I kept on eating! Who cares! I ate while watching cockroaches on the wall. So freaking delicious!”
Pang stayed to finish her noodles.
She was quick to defend the shop, though, saying she didn’t mean to hurt their reputation. The shop was usually clean and kept tidy most days. It was just on that one fateful day when the city was experiencing ranging downpour that caused such scenario.
What would you have done in her case? Would you have stayed and eaten still?
