While the famous “White Water River Rafting” seems to be the one associated the most when we talk about Cagayan de Oro, there are in fact many other things to be done when you happen to be in the city.
The city tourism officials are now developing Sinulom falls into a viable tourist destination.
Located at the boundary of Cagayan de Oro and Talakag, Bukidnon, this waterfalls sit beautifully as a backdrop of several tributaries forming a beautiful rock wall. The cool spring water used to be the source of potable water during the early days.
This falls, although not yet commercially advertised, is actually frequented by foreigners and locals alike, especially for the more adventurous ones!
“Sulom” coined from the Cebuana term meaning black ants.
This is definitely another one to add to your “hashtag-chasing-waterfalls” escapade this summer!
