It is amazing how some people reach the age of 90 and above when we are in the time when our habits are noticeably unhealthy.
Well, good news for Filipinos who chose to live healthy and fit during their younger years and has now reached the age of 100 will be receiving P100,000 from the government.
Under Republic Act (R.A. 10868) or the Centenarians Act of 2016, Filipinos who reach the mentioned age will be given cash as a 'centenarian gift' and a recognition from the government.
KAMI spotted a video on Facebook where a woman who reached 100 was given cash by Ormoc City mayor Richard Gomez.
