Filipinos are known for their ingenuity. However, even in the drug trade, they also show how ingenious they can be.

Kami came across a post by TNP, which reported about the illegal substances that were hidden in coconut husks.

This happened in Dumaguete City District Jail, Negros Oriental.

The recovered shabu was worth around P11 million.

According to the reports, the packets were delivered by an adult with a minor.

The two individuals delivered the 30 coconuts to Joram Catan.

Jail guards who would check incoming items were the ones who discovered the shabu.

They saw that 6 out of 30 coconuts were emptied with water and replaced with shabu.

According to the report, Catan denied being the recipient of the said hidden shabu.
