KAMI was dumbfounded by this kid who had so many achievements despite being at a young age.
Joemel Yap Magallanes is a 6th grader who's achievements can't be counted by fingers. He also shared to us that he wanted to become a Public Accountant. It is also because Mathematics is his favorite subject.
This is how her mother presented Joemel with us.
"Joemel or Epoy (his nickname) grew up in our very small family. He lives with us - his parents and his Lolo Ramon and Lola Melly live with us. His Lolo Ramon works in a company owned by his sister in Tacloban city. Joemel is our only child. Being the apple of the eye of his Lolo he would support him all the way in all his interests so we could discover his giftedness. He would spend his summer time in math, public speaking, art and dance workshops. In school he enrolled in a guitar class. He would represent his school in math competitions, newscasting, storytelling, interpretative reading and dance contests. He is blessed to Excell in these areas. Joemel loves his Lolo r amon and his Lolo Ramon adores him. He would celebrate joemel's birthday each year when he is home every Holy week. See the resemblance as joemel's way of giving back the love he works hard to win competitions and do very well in school without pressure from us."
