It’s only natural for people to have a high regard for soldiers given their line of job that requires them to regularly put their life on the line for the safety of the rest of the population.
However, Anne Curtis learned to appreciate them more after spending a remarkable amount of time with them for her upcoming movie entitled ‘Buy Bust.’
The actress’ preparation for her first ever action film began on the second half of last year, where she even said good bye to her long hair in order to perfectly play her role.
She didn’t think twice on chopping off several inches, though! Despite that it was an order coming from the director, Anne didn’t mind and even welcomed the change.
The ‘It’s Showtime’ host has been training with scout rangers for the movie, until the shooting eventually arrived.
On her most recent Instagram post, Anne confessed that it was an extremely tiring shoot since they almost filmed for 24 hours at one point. But the actress could not be any happier to reveal that it was an unforgettable one.
Anne tipped her hat off to the Special Forces Regiment, Philippine Army who accompanied her in the movie. She shared how she could not commend them enough for their sacrifices and the intense training they had to undergo to continue serving the country.
In the end, Anne was also hopeful that she would be able to meet with them once more and that all the bonding they had would have a special place in her heart.
‘Buy Bust’ is directed by Erik Matti which will hit the theaters this year.
