Bullied for her weight, an obese grade schooler found the courage to exercise daily and watch her diet.
Nine-year-old Breanna had been disheartened by the bullying she suffered from her schoolmates, so she decided to start a physical fitness routine.
At her young age, Breanna weighed 200 pounds. With the support of her family, she embarked on an exercise routine.
Together with her parents and little brother, she would walk for four miles around the neighborhood.

For over an hour every day, she would be running on a treadmill. She would also bring her own food to school, which her mother would cook.
Her mom would prepare her meals every day, ensuring nutritious diet for Breanna.
The obese girl also started swimming and playing basketball recreationally to burn fats.
After one year, Breanna lost 66 pounds. For a fifth grader, it was an incredible feat.
“She is an inspiration to the world and all the children who have weight issues,” her mother said.
