KAMI would like to greet everyone a happy Easter Sunday!
Finally, our sacrifices have paid off, but not so compared to Jesus.
While most were out of town or out of the country to reflect and take a breather, others have traditions that they religiously partake in.
In the case of Aiza Seguerra, she goes to Villa Escudero every Holy Week with her family.
PEP was able to talk to her and her partner, Liza Diño, who revealed that Aiza used to be the angel in every Salubong production there.
It is known that Salubong is the re-enactment of the Risen Christ meeting with Mother Mary.
The singer-turned-government employee played as an angel when she was seven years old up until she was ten.
When she became too heavy to be lifted, she began singing instead.
Now that she isn't able to do those things anymore, Aiza claims that she and her family still continue to visit Villa Escudero every year.
After all, her family and the Escuderos have formed a deep relationship since her film 'Aswang' was filmed in the villa 25 years ago.
We are happy to know that some celebrities live up to their pledges, as not everyone observes the traditions brought on by their religion.
