"Give us this day our daily bread..." For many people, a day or a night or even a week without food and shelter is a harsh reality.
We see them on our street corners. We see them in our parks. We seem them under our bridges on our freeways. They are the homeless, and they are desperate.

She recently noticed that the dog food in front of the cafe kept disappearing out of the bowls. There weren't more customers and there weren't more strays roaming the streets.
Puzzled and perplexed, she set up cameras outside her cafe. Something was stealing food and she wanted to know what it was.
But it was not a 'thing.' It was not a 'what.' It was a 'who,' and he was desperate enough to sneak behind a pillar and grab small bites at a time to come away fast enough to go unnoticed.
It's a heart-sinking moment when she sees the footage and rushes to him. "I'll go. Don't call the police. I'll leave," he pleads in tears. His reaction is painful proof to how the homeless are too often received by the public.
This is a video worth sharing. It has an incredibly strong, sensitive and heartbreaking message. Watch the video below, and please share your thoughts. We would love to read your comments.
