- KAMI found a netizen's post of a comic strip that has been relatable to so many Filipinos
- It depicts the taxi drivers who give the whole industry a bad name
- Other Filipinos agree with the comic through the comments section
Taxi drivers in the Philippines have been upset with third-party private transportation services because they claim that their business have significantly been hit.
Uber and Grab offers the convenience of hiring a driver through an app along other perks that no taxis can deliver.
Some of these taxi drivers even protest on the streets to ban these services.
A comic shared by John Lee resonated with so many commuters. It happens to be an original artwork of ContrastTH from Thailand and translated by Chico Orange.
This strip depicts choosy and snob taxi drivers who refuse to take people in because it is either ‘too traffic’ or ‘too far.’ These limitations make their supposed passengers turn to Uber and Grab.
Then these taxi drivers decry foul over these third party app services.

Many have commented their same sentiments and even shared their own horrible experiences.
To be fair, not all taxi drivers are like this. It just so happens that these bad taxi drivers have tarnished the reputation of their entire industry. There are also bad Uber and Grab drivers out there but as a whole, their service is definitely better.
Hopefully this reaches to LTFRB and things would get better with our transportation system in the Philippines.
