- A Pinoy went viral for his spoken word poetry performance about politics
- His poetry spoke about the many “sins” of Duterte since he became the President
- However, his spoken word poetry went viral for its twist
A Filipino netizen went viral after sharing a video of his spoken word poetry performance about President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte.
According to the Facebook page called Pro Happy, the video is from Jay Ar Castillo Dinglasan.
The passionate Pinoy started his spoken word poetry by misleading the listeners as he talked about the “sins” of the President.
“Ang dami ng kasalanan sa atin ng ating Presidente (Our President has already committed a lot of sins against us),” he said.
However, he later explained that Duterte’s “sins” are actually good deeds.
He spoke about the decreasing cases of “laglag bala” at the NAIA and the decreasing number of drug pushers and users in the streets.
Jay Ar also talked about Duterte’s positive effect on the Bilibid drug trade and the use of videoke machines beyond 10 p.m.
The viral sensation also cited the implementation of the 911 emergency service as a “sin” of Duterte.
Netizens applauded the content of his spoken word poetry but he also had his critics.
“Anong nang yare sayo doy mabuti pa doy manahimik ka nalang (What happened to you? It would have been better if you just kept quiet),” a netizen wrote.
“Magkano binayad sayo (How much were you paid)?” another social media user posted.
