Unsanitary practices of preparing food by this street food vendor caught on camera and shared by netizens

- He reuses the eggs by taking off the flour covering, washing the eggs in a basin, washing his dirty hands in the same basin and then transferring the eggs in a strainer which is placed on the dirty ground

A concerned netizen shared on Matalinong Matsing’s Facebook page two short videos of a vendor in Baclaran preparing his street food in an unsanitary manner.
The viral clips show the vendor taking off the flour covering of the kwek-kwek eggs which he was unable to sell the previous day, washing it in a basin, washing his dirty hands in the same basin and then putting the eggs in a strainer which is placed on the dirty ground.

Many netizens were disgusted by what they saw in the videos.
“Sikmura po ang kalalagyan nyan. Kawawa naman yong bumili at nagbayad ng tama,” a netizen wrote.
(Keep in mind that those eggs will go to a person’s stomach. I feel bad for the customers.)

Netizens also urged the public to check first how the vendor prepares the street food before buying products from him or her.
