On Friday morning, Facebook users woke up finding a photo of a street kid that resembles the photo of Jose Ja-El Flores, a child that was missing since 2012.
The story of Ja-El was recently featured in KAMI.com.ph and other news websites making his face recognizable to many.
A concerned citizen posted the photo that immediately went viral.
Netizens contacted Ja-El’s mom, Jona Penamora-Flores, hopeful that she will finally be reunited with her son.
She went to Novaliches to personally confirm the identity of the child.
Everyone is expecting a heartwarming reunion with the mother and child.
Unfortunately, the viral kid is not Ja-El Flores. Mommy Jona also confirmed to KAMI.com.ph that the kid is not her son who went missing five years ago.
Mommy Jona said that there is no “lukso ng dugo” with the child. This is the feeling of connection that mothers feel with their children. Most mothers attest to this feeling.
However, netizens were disappointed that Mommy Jona did not opt for DNA test to be sure.
Despite this setback, the mother and father of Ja-El are still hopeful that they will find their son.
