It has been a while since we saw Balang dance to another popular song.
The young online dancing sensation, whose real name is John Philip Bughaw, rose to fame with his lively dance cover of ‘Bang Bang’ by Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj in 2015.
His succeeding but still amusing performances has led him to dance in Ellen DeGeneres’ show twice, which is quite a feat for someone his age.
Last night, the 7-year-old dropped his latest dance cover – ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran.
He is the second local celebrity to release a dance cover to the trending hit, as the first we have written about were from Kathryn Bernardo and Viva talents Ella Cruz and Julian Trono.
Clad in a grey tank top, jeans, and a plaid shirt wrapped around his waist, the young performer gave us an entertaining, if not easy to follow, number.
Balang can also be seen in GMA’s reality talent competition show #Like with Tom Rodriguez.
This kid is definitely going places and we couldn’t be more excited with what he comes up next. Do you feel the same way as us? Let us know in the comments!
