March 8 may have been just another ordinary day for most of us, but for two persons, it marked the beginning of a wonderful relationship.

One of Ateneo Blue Eagle’s volleyball players Rex Intal has decided to officially ask out his crush Ciacia Mendoza, but not in the way any of us could have imagined.

For starters, Rex meticulously planned this special yet nerve-wracking event by creating a 70-page magazine which features congratulatory and best wishes from their family and friends, photos of other unforgettable occasions they spent together, and everything else that is enough to hear that anticipated ‘yes’ from Ciacia!

As if that wasn’t going beyond the sweetest ways of asking a girl out, Rex channeled out his inner romantic side by taking Ciacia out to dinner and gifting her a beautiful bouquet of flowers while they’re on board a gondola.

Ciacia described the experience as something ‘surreal’ and even joked that she could pass as a Disney princess after. Half-meant or not, we totally think she could!

She even shared the sweet moment on Twitter which became viral of unsurprising reasons. Ciacia didn’t forget to give a shout out to her boyfriend and commended him for being so ‘extra’ even though he already knows that she’d say ‘yes’ – cue all the ‘awww’ right there!
