Arra San Agustin takes over Kylie Padilla’s throne as Amihan in Encantadia

It seems that Encantadia is far from over and a new Amihan will take over the throne.

After Kylie Padilla’s pregnancy was revealed, she has to step down from her role as Amihan in the hit TV remake of Encantadia. Encantadia director Mark Reyes once said that “no one is replacing Kylie Padilla.”

However, the team found a way to introduce a reincarnation of Amihan. Before Kylie’s Amihan died, she ate a fruit in Devas that caused her ivtre to be reincarnated. An ivtre is reincarnated through a dead body of Ariana. This then means that Amihan is in the body of Ariana, therefore she becomes the gem’s new keeper.

The role of Ariana is played by Starstruck 6 alumnae Arra San Augustin. She first appeared on the series on the March 3 episode of the teleserye.
