- Married OFW couple, Leo and Cristy, are both working in Taiwan but they are in a long distance relationship
- It is a six-hour trip that is keeping them apart
- They are enduring this to live well off in the Philippines someday
Married OFW couple, Leo and Cristy Manuel, were both working in Taiwan and is a great example of strong couples maintaining a long distance relationship.
Married in the Philippines, Leo and Cristy both applied for jobs as OFWs to earn money. However, they were still apart. Cristy is working for a semi-conducting firm in Nong Pan, while Leo is working for a furniture company in Kaohsiung.
Although both working in Taiwan, they have to endure six-hour distance between their companies.
Just like in their decisions, they always meet halfway in Chung li. Leo has to travel four hours and Cristy for two hours just to see each other.
They are trying their best to earn enough money to live well off in the Philippines. Once they met their goal, they promise to fly back home and will never be apart again.
