Pinay with deformities wows 'Tawag ng Tanghalan' audience

Jennifer Pulga, a 27-year-old Filipina with physical deformities, has become a viral sensation after showcasing her amazing singing voice on TV and on social media.

The inspiring woman, who was born without a right arm and with facial and right leg deformities, first went viral after sharing on social media a video of herself singing Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.”
ABS-CBN newscaster Bernadette Sembrano also took notice of her, featuring her story on TV Patrol’s Lingkod Kapamilya segment.

Through the help of the TV program, Pulga was given the chance to compete in the Tawag ng Tanghalan singing competition on “It’s Showtime”.
Pulga did not waste the opportunity, as she impressed the crowd with her cover of Kyla’s classic song “Hanggang Ngayon”.

Kyla also surprised Pulga during her performance by joining her in singing the song.
After their performance, Kyla applauded Pulga for inspiring her and many others with her strength and courage in the face of her difficulties.
To end the segment on TV Patrol, Sembrano asked the public to help Pulga get a stable job so that she could also help her family.
