The famous 1993 Miss Universe Dayanara Torres revealed on Gandang Gabi Vice that her children had no idea that she won the much-coveted title in 1993.
She told Vice Ganda that they only knew when they were already in 5th grade. This assumes that her kids were around 11 years old when they came to know.

In fact, she was not the one who revealed the story to them.
It was her kids friends to made the huge announcement.

According to Yari, the friends of her kids were Googling (most likely due to the recent Miss Universe competition), and it was then that they discovered that she won the Miss Universe title.
Yari's expression as she described the epic moment her kids friends revealed to them she's the Miss U was utterly priceless.
