Filipino designer Pepsi Herrera’s death came as a shock to close friends and fans alike.
One of the celebrities who expressed their surprise and mourned the loss was Coleen Garcia, who took the time to write a lengthy farewell letter to the gem of the fashion industry here in the Philippines.

Coleen admitted that she still couldn’t believe the sudden passing of Pepsi, and even revealed that he was meant to design her wedding gown for her special day with boyfriend Billy Crawford.
The actress recalled one of the many instances when the designer treated her like a family; saying how Pepsi welcomed her into his home when she had nowhere else to go during a particular Christmas season.

Pepsi has been also widely known for his stunning gowns at Star Magic Ball yearly, which Coleen did not fail to mention since he has showed her support from the ‘first to the last.’
As her letter draws to an end, Coleen has only nice things to say about Pepsi and hoped that others would remember him by with those traits as well.

She even urged readers to say a little prayer for the designer.
The abrupt death of Pepsi was revealed by his friend, Edwin Tan, on Facebook. Reports say that the 56-year old passed away due to cardiac arrest.

In sympathy with the regretful incident and his timeless masterpieces, fans expressed their deepest condolences also.
Besides Pepsi, the fashion industry has housed other talented designers such as Michael Cinco who made Liza Soberano’s winning gown at Star Magic Ball last year.
Other artists such as Kim Chiu also expressed shock to Pepsi’s sudden passing.
