A white statue of the Buddhist Avalokitesvara appeared in the Jieyang river

According to People.cn, a white statue of the Buddhist Avalokitesvara appeared from the Jieyang river.
The villagers who live in the area say they noticed the head of the statue yet on February, 2. It was rescued from water today.
People say they couldn't believe their eyes: the statue appeared to be surprisingly undamaged.
Locals call the appearing of this statue 'a miracle'.
