12-year-old kid molested and killed in Caloocan City

Many were enraged when they heard the recent news about a young girl who was reportedly molested before getting killed.
That is only one of the countless crimes ever reported in the country.
In the Philippines, r@pe is one of the most prevalent forms of violence.

According to the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), it ranked third with 13.1% of the total recorded violence against women (VAW) cases from 1999 to 2009.
In a report by GMA News, the 12-year-old kid was found lifeless without clothes in an abandon site in Barangay 171 Caloocan City.
The victim was identified as Rebecca Galgera, a Grade 3 pupil in Bagumbong Elementary School.

Her family recalled that Rebecca went missing a night before her dead body was found.
Meanwhile, the suspect has fled and is still at large.
Whoever did this must pay the price of his inhumanity.
